The more we possess, the more problems we have stemming from our possessions. We engage in these to satisfy the emptiness that only God can fill. But these also provide diversion from being with our Father. Instead, let Jesus be your sanctuary of solace, your refuge of relief.

Marching for life as a way of life

The March for Life in Washington DC is complete, and the Church militant (you and I) are now prepared to carry God’s truth and love into our communities. And while this may seem impossible in an already-packed schedule, it is easier than it appears. What we need to do now is support one another and those around us in the smallest of ways

The Night of Miracles

The one and very same God who built the mountains, anchored the seas, and lit the heavens with stars will be born this very night. Yet He, the light of Glory, hid His glory and became small. He did not seek fame nor act in grandiose ways. He sought to hold close those who will embrace Him in their heart.

Becoming small again

The Advent of the Christ child has finally begun! It is a season to grow in profound understanding of God’s “smallness” by joining Him in becoming little ourselves. He belongs in the palace of our heart yet instead is relegated to the outskirts of our life as we busy ourselves with worldly things. Advent is the time to make Him the center of our life each day and send worldly attachments into exile.
